Blast Mitigation Film
Don’t feel helpless against threats. Enhance your security with blast mitigation film.
Anchoring Restraint Systems
An anchoring restraint system is a vital part of utilizing film. It does exactly what its name suggests: Adheres the film to your window frames. What anchoring system you use is determined in consultation with our team of technicians and installers based on your threat level.
The SafetyField film we use works with these four anchoring systems:
FrameGuard
This approach applies film to the glass and the window frame with a series of screws. The result creates an area that allows shattered glass to move within the frame.
GullWing
This choice employs a flexible overlay applied to both the film and the window frame. It swells upon impact and keeps glass inside the window frame. Available in three sizes, this protection option comes with black or grey film.
Wet Glaze
This system creates a junction in the shape of a triangle that connects to the window frame and glass and contains glass within the frame.
LifeLine
Appropriate for industrial settings, LifeLine uses SafetyShield film and impact-reducing cords to catch shattered glass.
